The Dubai International Boat Show will return later this month, marking a 25-year milestone in the history of the show.
Taking place between February 28 to 4 March, the boat show will be held at the Dubai International Marine Club, which is is set to be an important part of the Dubai Harbour. The new waterfront development will become the largest marina in the Middle East, creating another 1,400 marina berths in the Emirates.
The 20 million square foot Dubai Harbour project features a 135 meter-high tower, the Dubai Lighthouse, which will house a luxury hotel. The Dubai Harbour will also have a 150,000 sq ft cruise liner terminal, a shopping mall and a yacht club.
Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice President, Events Management, DWTC said: “The Dubai International Boat Show has always catered to the needs of the boating community and has grown over the past 25 years to accommodate the expanding marine industry. Developments such as the Dubai Canal Extension and the recent announcement of the Dubai Harbour project, featuring exclusive berthing facilities for super yachts up to 85m long, will continue to have a tremendous impact on both the show and the emirate’s reputation as a globally recognised marine hub.”
